The Palestinian delegation meanwhile was already locked in talks with Egyptian intelligence mediators, who will relay their demands to the Israeli negotiators, a Palestinian official said.

Two States?
The US has hundreds of ethnic groups, including many Native American peoples with far more axes to grind than the Palestinians. The problem is not how many states to create, but rather, ignorance and intolerance of anyone but one's own tribe. No state can correct this. Nor would I want a state next to me with a legislative charter to destroy my own.

Peace
I hope both sides will see sense, Israel by lifting the land and sea blockade of Gaza and Hamas by laying down their weapons. The situation in Gaza can not go on, both sides need to work forward together to create a 2 State solution. The Palestinians must have their own State, only then will there be any hope of peace.
