A man wanders out of the desert after a four year absence. His brother finds him and together they return to L.A. to reunite the man with his young son. Soon after, he and the boy set out to locate the mother of the child, who left shortly after the man disappeared.

Over the past 40 years, photographer Sebastião Salgado has been travelling around the world and has witnessed major events in recent history such as international conflicts, starvation and Exodus. He is now embarking on the discovery of pristine territories of wild fauna and flora as part of a huge photographic project to showcase planet’s beauty. Sebastião Salgado’s life and work are revealed to us by his son, Juliano and fellow photographer Wim Wenders who accompanied him on his trip.
