The Egyptian Appeals Court will set a date for the trial of ousted president Hosni Mubarak, his two sons and fugitive businessman Hussein Salem this week, a judicial source has revealed.

The source told Ahram Online that the court is waiting for the prosecution to send them the case portfolio before they can set a date. He added that the court will schedule a date for the first session of Mubarak’s trial regardless of the former president’s health.
