Egypt striker Marwan Mohsen completed a three-year move to Ismaily from Portuguese side Gil Vicente late on Tuesday.
"Mohsen signed a three-year contract with Ismaily after the club met the $50,000 release clause in his contract with Gil Vicente," the Egyptian coastal side announced on its website. "The player will join the club's training sessions next week."
Mohsen ended an eight-year stint at Egyptian club Petrojet last November when he signed a three-year deal with Gil Vicente.
The 26-year-old international has made 25 appearances for Gil Vicente in all competitions this season, scoring only one goal. On the international level, Mohsen has so far earned ten caps and scored three goals.
Gil Vicente were relegated to the second division after finishing second from bottom in Portugal's Primeira Liga this season.
Meanwhile, three-time Egyptian champions Ismaily finished sixth this term with 55 points, 32 behind league winners Zamalek.
Mohsen joined the Dervishes while they are preparing for their first challenge under new coach Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam against Smouha in Egypt's Cup last eight on 12 August.
