Concession made by ruling military council to sit-in protest demands

After meeting with a number of representatives for those staging a sit-in in Cairo Airport, Reda Hafiz, a member of the Supreme Council for the Armed Forces, declared Ahmed Hafiz as the international airport's first civilian chief in 50 years.

In addition, it was agreed to increase the salaries with respect to the financial capability of companies.

On another note, a team of police and armed forces was formed to check upon the airport’s lanes in response to claims about protesters shutting them down.
