Two protests erupted today in front of the Civil Aviation Ministry after it failed to meet their demands.
The two groups were composed of the employees of the Egypt Air maintenance and the engineering department and, separately, the air control engineering department.
A source in the ministry told Ahram Online that the protesters had met with officials in the ministry during the past week and decided to give the new minister Lotfy Mustafa Kamal, a chance to study the current situation after hearing their demands.
The first protest included 25 technicians in the Egypt Air maintenance that demanded licenses to work as aviation engineers.
Another 45 employees gathered in front of the engineering department in the air control company to demand that the management be replaced.
