An eye-witness and one of the injured tells Ahram Online that a group of teachers were chanting near one of the Cabinet building's exit points as Prime Minister Essam Sharaf was leaving. The military forces securing the building started beating the protesters to secure Sharaf's exit.

Injuries were mild, the eyewitness says, except for one teacher whose arm was broken and who was transferred to hospital in an ambulance.
