Janan, the Egyptian alternative/pop rock band, will perform their best known singles Friday, 9 June, at Room Arts Space and Cafe.

Founded by Noha Fekry, the band's vocalist, pianist and songwriter, Janan's line-up also includes keyboad player Ahmed Kamar, bassists Samer George and Mokhtar El-Sayeh, drummer Magued Nagati and guitarist Youssef El-Sioufy.

Reflecting its name, which in Arabic refers to a heart or core, Janan aims at performing songs that stem from the mind and heart of band members.

Janan's first single "El esh' Hala" was released in October 2015 and was soon followed by songs such as "Lahza", "Antom", and "Mehtagak".
