The renowned Jordanian rock band JadaL will hold a concert at the Greek Campus of the American University in Cairo Greek on 26 August.

JadaL will perform songs from their latest Album Malyoun, as well as other songs that are highly anticipated by their Egyptian audience.

The band is comprised of guitarist, songwriter, and producer Mahmoud Radaideh, vocalist Ahmad Zoubi, bassist Yazan Risheq, Hakam Abu Soud on drums, and Bader Helalat and Hani Mezyan on keyboards.

Since their debut in 2003, JadaL has played alternative rock at a time when the Jordanian music scene was filled with pop, commercial tunes, and love songs, and quickly established themselves as pioneers of Arab rock.

“JadaL's themes are rooted in the life of Arab youth such as the race against time and working hard to earn one's bread. They also dissect difficult situations in the country and the many problems that youth face,” mai Selim writes on the band when they performed in Egypt in 2015.

Saturday 26 August, at 5pm
The Greek Campus, 28 Falaki St., Downtown, Cairo
