The Armed Forces have apprehended 20 suspects in several cases as well as 226 persons who attempted to migrate irregularly.

Egyptian border-guards also seized 11 vehicles and four fishing boats carrying 1,000 packs of cigarettes as well as large amounts of counterfeit medicines.

Also seized were 15 kg of hashish and marijuana as well as 25,000 pills and 1,500 kg of stone mixed with pure gold.
