The matches of week 16 of the Egyptian Premier League will be postponed for four days due to security reasons, the Egyptian football association (EFA) announced on Saturday.

The matches that were supposed to be played on 23 and 24 January will now be played on 27 January.

Egyptian security authorities will be busy securing the first parliament session on Monday and also will safeguard the state’s facilities on the first anniversary of the revolution on Wednesday.
