The renowned Jordanian rock band JadaL will be the opening concert for the Art Center of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina's 17th International Summer Festival on 26 July.
JadaL will play songs from their three albums; Malyoun (2016), El Makina (2012) and Arabic Rocks (2009).
The band is comprised of aguitarist, songwriter, and producer Mahmoud Radaideh, vocalist Ahmad Zoubi, bassist Yazan Risheq, drummer Hakam Abu Soud, and Bader Helalat and Hani Mezyan on keyboards.
Since their debut in 2003, JadaL started playing alternative rock at a time when the Jordanian music scene was filled with pop, commercial tunes, and love songs, and quickly established themselves as pioneers of Arab rock.
The festival will include a variety of art activities like music concerts, theatre plays, film screenings, poetry, and stand-up comedy, in addition to a series of workshops and lectures on various aspects of art.
