USD rate up at major Egyptian banks

The exchange rate of the US dollar went up during Thursday transactions at major Egyptian banks, settling at EGP 16.52 for buying and EGP 16.62 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr.

At the Commercial International Bank, it rose two piasters to record EGP 16.53 for buying and EGP 16.63 for selling.

At the Arab African International Bank and Alexandria Bank, the dollar rate increased by three piasters to stand at EGP 16.53 for buying and EGP 16.63 for selling.

The rate inched up two piasters to register EGP 16.52 for buying and EGP 16.62 for selling at the National Bank of Greece
