Air Cairo to operate 11 flights to repatriate Egyptians stranded in Europe and Africa

Air Cairo airline announced on Monday it will operate flights from 23 to 30 April to bring back Egyptians stranded in different countries.

Air Cairo is partly owned by EgyptAir, the flagship carrier.

23 April 
From Cairo to Frankfurt and back to Marsa Alam.
From Cairo to the Maldives and back to Marsa Alam.
From Cairo to Algeria and back to Marsa Alam.
From Cairo to Barcelona and back to Marsa Alam.
From Cairo to Frankfurt and back to Marsa Alam.

24 April

Egypt is keeping its airspace open to inbound charter and regular flights arriving empty to transport outbound passengers, and to cargo and domestic flights, during a temporary suspension of air traffic since mid-March.

Traffic at airports has been restricted to mainly repatriation flights since the suspension, which has seen an extension until further notice since 8 April.

EgyptAir resumes repatriation flights to return Egyptians stranded in many Arab and European countries as of Tuesday, Al-Ahram Arabic news website reported on Monday.
