Egyptian actor Mohamed Ramadan continues to explore the music scene by rapping the lyrics to simple rhythmic music.
This time, he posted a 40-second-long video in which he is in a car with his daughter Hanin, as he raps about coronavirus.
The song addresses coronavirus with a light spirit, encouraging people to take precaution measures such as disinfecting hands and wearing a mask.
The video, which was posted on Ramadan’s Facebook page and Instagram account on Friday, reached 5.5 million views and 3 million views on each platform respectively, only one day after its release.
Though he initially gained famed as one of Egypt's most popular film and television actors, over the past two years Ramadan has turned to singing, attracting a large number of fans to his clips and occasional concerts.
Ramadan signed a singing contract with Rotana in 2019 and released the song 'Baba', the video clip for which garnered over 30 million views in its first few weeks after release.
On 1 January 2020, Ramadan released another music video on his YouTube channel titled Bum Bum. The video exceeded half-a-million views only six hours after it was posted on YouTube.
Currently, Ramadan stars in the television series titled The Prince. The series is directed and written by Mohamed Samy.
