The cultural activities have started gradually to reopen in the country. The reopening has included theatres, museums, galleries, national circus, which operate under the culture ministry. In its first stage, the resumption of activities will be open at only 25 percent audience capacity across all venues

The Cairo Opera House announced the opening of the electronic reservation on (https://ticketsmall.com/customer/events/list/) on its theatres in Cairo and Alexandria (Fountain, Open-Air, Sayed Darwish in Alexandria)

Basita.Live
One Global Cultural Sector
Co-produced by Basita.Live, a concert by the piano and violin duo Fouad and Mounib performing their original compositions, arranged and accompanied by their orchestra of talented Egyptian musicians is available online until 7 January 2021. Toqa El-Hagrasy on the qanun and Azmy Magdy on the electric violin add the oriental tunes to the performance. Basita.live is a virtual venue; an income-generating platform that connects creators, institutions, and theatres, with their audiences virtually and globally. The platform allows artists, performers, institutions and theatres to reach beyond their physical attendance, and still sell their tickets to their audiences world-wide.

Cairo Contemporary Dance Centre
The Cairo Contemporary Dance Centre (CCDC) has decided to offer free online classes to encourage everyone to stay active at home. Classes vary between Contemporary Dance, Barre, Floor Barre, Yoga, Breakdance, Movement and Exercise, Pilates, Ballet, and nutrition advises. You can find all the classes on the CCDC’s YouTube channel.

Tue 6, 8pm: Mostafa Rizq takes blues music to a different contemporary style.
