Egypt's Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the National Organization for Military Production (NOMP) and Sudan’s Military Industry Corporation (MIC) in various manufacturing fields, the ministry of military production announced on Friday. 

The MoU comes on the sidelines of the visit made by deputy director general of the MIC Al-Moatasem Abdullah to a set of companies and factories affiliated to the military production ministry to get acquainted with the manufacturing and technological capabilities there.

This visit comes at the same time Egypt and Sudan are holding 'Nile Eagles 1' military drills. 

Sudanese and Egyptian officials stated during the military drill that the upcoming period would witness more cooperation between the two countries' militarily.
