Guinea-Bissau’s President Umaro Cissoko Embalo lauded in a phone call to President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi on Saturday Egypt’s contributions in promoting African cooperation in various fields and its commitment to peace and prosperity for the continent
Embalo hailed Egypt’s efforts in advancing African coopperation, especially through boosting intra-African trade and investment as well as preserving peace and security in the continent, Rady said.
The Guinea-Bissau's president also voiced keenness to deepen his country’s relations with Egypt in different fields.
Meanwhile, El-Sisi affirmed to Embalo Egypt’s commitment to support Guinea-Bissau in various fields in order to achieve the aspiration of its people, praising the historic relations between the two countries, added Rady.
The two leaders agreed on activating bilateral cooperation frameworks in various realms and boosting trade exchange.
They also agreed on supporting the development and capacity-building of Guinea-Bissau cadres, in order to help the country strengthen its institutions and face all security challenges.
