The Muslim Brotherhood said it will invite leading polticians knocked out of the country's presidential election to talks whose agenda will include the position of vice president and a future coalition government, a Brotherhood official said.

Yasser Ali said the invitees would include Abdel Moneim Abol Fotouh, an independent Islamist, and Hamdeen Sabahy, a leftist.

The Brotherhood said the first round of the presidential race was won by its candidate, Mohamed Morsi. He will face Ahmed Shafiq, Hosni Mubarak's former prime minister, in a run-off.

Revolution must overcome
I think Sabahi and Abolfotouh can be a good balance to the brotherhood in furue govering organ. So I hope they will manage to come to a deal with the brotherhood, this will moderate the brotherhood to the better.

This is unbelievable
OK, so the brotherhood candidate came first in a free election...but they already discussing vice president post??? I think they need to be careful , they need the final victory first!!! I don't like Shafiq either, but he is better than a complete islamic dominance in Egypt. Not much of other choices, is there??
