The recently-established "We Will Find Them" movement is to protest at the presidential palace Saturday to condemn "government neglect in finding missing persons."
"We Will Find Them" was established in August planned to create a detailed database of those missing, most of whom are believed to have been arrested while taking part in anti-regime protests in January-February 2011.
Protesters will demand that serious steps be taken in finding those who have gone missing.
In an emotional press statement directed at the President and Egyptians, they remind them that: "Some families will be missing their children during the Eid El-Fitr holiday, who they haven’t heard for more than a year and a half."
According to the campaign more than 1,200 Egyptians have been reported missing since 25 January 2011, while others dispute that figure, claiming there are more.
