The Constitution Party announced its decision to merge with the Adl Party on Thursday.

Both parties share a similar vision and are working to achieve "freedom, dignity and social justice," the party said on its official Facebook page.

The two parties agreed to merge during a meeting on Thursday attended by Mohamed ElBaradei, head of the Constitution Party, and Emad Sayed Ahmed, head of the Adl Party, along with other senior leaders of both parties.

The Constitution Party was founded by reform campaigner ElBaradei. Prominent members of the party include former culture minister Emad Abou Ghazi, former Ghad Party member Gameela Ismael, and founder of the Kefaya movement George Ishaq.

The Adl Party was formally established after Egypt's revolution in early 2011. The party declares that it seeks to protect the goals of the revolution and promote the country’s social and economic development. The party professes a liberal platform but decided not to align itself with Egypt’s liberal or Islamist camps, calling instead for a “third way.”

The name of the new party is yet to be announced.

Miltiary & Religious Dictatorshi[p
Both are invalid for modern time society. The ruler has the absolute power that is undisputable by anyone. Can you see the failed Islamic states and terrorists around Egypt? Snap out of the cult.

A Sri Lankan (Sinhalese) perspective
These moves are most welcome. Our country has suffered much owing to sectarian and communal violence for about fifty years. I hope sanity prevails in your country and the Muslim dominated countries.

Invalid Mix of Religion and Poltics
Look to the failed religious states around us, including Israel. I follow my religion in my personal life; not in my business. Remember that who claimed to be religious are lying, cheating forging, etc.

Business is governed by civil laws and punishment is done by judge in real life not after death.

Amen!
I believe in God and religion and their purity. Keep religion above the political mess. To you your religion and to me mine.
