A car bomb exploded outside a central security forces camp in Egypt's Suez Canal city of Ismailia, killing one and injuring at least 20 conscripts, Al-Ahram's Arabic news website reported.

The explosion was followed by extensive gunfire sounds, according to eye-witnesses who talked to the website.

Al-Ahram reported the conscripts were being transported to hospitals.

In a similar attack, a military intelligence facility in Ismailia was targeted by a car bomb in October injuring six army personnel.

Since the ouster of former Islamist president Mohamed Morsi on 3 July, and a military campaign in Sinai that followed it, security personnel have faced escalating attacks by militants. Several police and army officers have been killed by drive-by shootings in Ismailia since August.

How impressive ,...
The Muslim brotherhoods propaganda sweatshop is working full time disapproving with a flood of thums downs. Given they consistantly send a flood of approval or disapproval thums, in such a short instant consistently, they are obviously hacking the system to give a fake impression. Only a fool would be fooled by these primitive terrorists.

If someone can be blame for the attack that is only the ruling junta. If you deviate from the democratic path and chosen the path of destruction, repression, massacre and facism then don't expect flowers. They forgot what happened in Algeria,Afghanistan & Iraq. The mindles rulers don't care the result of their crime against humanity. It's not too late the coup and its supporter must immediately stop all their crimes against egyptians.

Criminals, not politicians
Such terrorist attacks just confirm the true criminal nature of the Muslim Brotherhood affiliates who, over one year in power, utterly failed as politicians.
