16:15 Botswana will also be without India-based midfielder Ofentse Nato, who has retired from international football at the age of 25 after accusations of coming to camp drunk.

15:30  Egypt will still be without keeper Sherif Ekramy, Hull City's Ahmed Elmohamady, right-back Hazem Emam and Smouha striker Hany El-Egeizy - who missed the reverse fixture through injury.

14:45 The seven-time African champions will also hope the other Group D match between Tunisia and Senegal ends with a victory for either side to mount serious challenge for  the group's second spot. 

14:00 The Pharaohs are in dire need for a win to keep alive their hopes of qualifying for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, a tournament they are record holders with seven titles.

13:20 Egypt are expected to ease to victory at home over Botswana, having coasted to a 2-0 win at the Group D outsiders few days ago.
