The Egypt national team won't be facing Brazil in a friendly match in November, but could play another match against an Asian team in the UAE next month according to the Pharaohs assistant coach Hany Ramzy.

"Most probably we won't face Brazil after failing to reach a financial agreement and also as we have limited time to get the needed visas, as the game was supposed to be held in Europe," Ramzy told an Egyptian TV channel on Tuesday.

Egypt, the seven-time African Champions, are second in Group J of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers with nine points, and are set to face the group's leaders Tunisia in the 5th round on 16 November, before facing Niger in the final match.

Egyptian Football Association (EFA) board member Magdi Abdel-Ghani announced last week that they had received more offers, including two from Brazil and Argentina, to play friendly games next month, after the Pharaohs' superb performance in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

"There was another offer to play a friendly against Argentina ahead of our last match against eSwatini but we refused due to limited time," Ramzy explained.

"The technical staff is currently studying another suggestion to play a friendly match in UAE against an Asian team next month," the former Ahly star added.

Egypt bounded past eSwatini 2-0 last Tuesday in Manzini to qualify for next year's Africa Cup of Nations finals in Cameroon.

Under the helm of Mexican coach Javier Aguirre the Pharaohs have scored 12 goals in three games, crushing Niger 6-0, beating eSwatini 4-1 at home, before winning away 2-0 against the same team in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
