Egypt who are chasing their eighth continental title will host the Nations Cup that will start on the 21 st of this month.

The Pharaohs kicked off their preparation camp last Thursday that includes another friendly against Guinea set to be played on Sunday.

"Tanzania and Guinea freindlies are very important as we are looking for more harmony between the players," Pharaohs coach Javier Aguirre told a news conference on Wednesday.

"I will test all the players during the two games to make the final choice ahead of the Nations Cup"

Aguirre has named his final list for the Nations Cup on Tuesday after excluding Smouha's duo Mohamed Abou Gabal and Ahmed Fatouh.who featured in the preliminary list.

Liverpool winger and team's ace Mohamed Salah joined the Pharaohs camp on Wednesday and his participation against Tanzania is not likely.

"We are ready for the continental competition," Aguirre added.

"I am so satisfied with our preparations. Salah joined the camp on Wednesday and he will be fit before the tournament."
