Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry meets with David Satterfield, US special envoy for Libya and general director of the Multinational Force and Observers, to discuss the latest developments in Libya, Gaza and Sinai

Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry met on Sunday afternoon with David Satterfield, US special envoy for Libya and general director of the Multinational Force and Observers, to discuss the latest regional developments.

They discussed Gaza as well the latest developments regarding the multinational forces and observers in Sinai. 

Satterfield expressed his interest to listen to the Egypt's vision regarding the situation in Libya. Shoukry stressed that Egypt was keen on achieving the aspirations of the Libyan people to rebuild its modern state in a unified Libya.

The Egyptian foreign minister also expressed how Egypt welcomed the latest the parliamentary elections in Libya and the first session of the National General Congress. 

They also discussed the latest develpments in Gaza with US and Egyptian efforts to reach a ceasefire between Israel and Palestinian factions
