Egypt’s ambassador to the US, Sameh Shukri, said the embassy has no information of an Egyptian team in Washington to investigate the US property and assets of ousted president Hosni Mubarak.

In statements given to the Middle East News Agency in Washington he said that in routine follow-ups with American officials he was informed that the Americans are dealing with this matter through direct communciation between the legal office at the American Embassy in Egypt and specific judicial authorities in Egypt.
