Gamal and Alaa Mubarak, sons of former president Hosni Mubarak, on Thursday attended their first trial session since being released from prison in January.
The trial, in which they face accusations of manipulating the stock market, was adjourned until 16 April.
The two are accused, together with six other businessmen and officials, of receiving an illicit sum of money, estimated at over LE2 billion, from the sale of the Egyptian National Bank.
Gamal and Alaa Mubarak still face other trials. They were earlier released on bail pending a retrial in another corruption case, together with their father, in which they are charged with embezzling public funds earmarked for the renovation of presidential palaces and using the money to spruce up their private properties.
The court has, however, dropped charges against Hosni Mubarak, his two sons and businessman Hussein Salem on charges of profiteering from illegal gifts of villas.
The court ordered their release because they had already served the maximum period of 18 months in pre-trial detention.
