The secretary-general of the League of Arab States, Nabil Al-Arabi, denounced on Saturday the Paris attacks which resulted in the death of more than 120 people, sending his condolence to the French people and government.
"These terrorist attacks show that the international community must focus its efforts and to use all legal tools and means to [bring those responsible to justice]," Al-Arabi said in a statement issued Saturday afternoon in Cairo.
The Islamic State militant group claimed on Saturday responsibility for the series of coordinated attacks that targeted six different sites by suicide bombers and gunmen in Paris.
French President Francois Hollande called the assault an "act of war" as authorities declared a state of national emergency across France.
