Egypt's foreign ministry is searching for an Egyptian national who went missing in Paris following Friday's terrorist attacks that killed 128 people, ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid told state news agency MENA on Saturday.
The 27-year-old man, who was visiting Paris with his mother, attended the France-Germany friendly football match at Stade de France football stadium before he went missing, according to Abu Zeid.
Three explosions took place near Stade de France as the France-Germany match was ongoing. The blasts were part of a series of attacks that took place around the same time in the French capital, for which the ISIS militant group has claimed responsibility.
Abu Zeid said that Egyptian authorities are in constant contact with their French counterparts regarding the search for the missing Egyptian.
