Egyptian state media has announced that the 14 new ministers will not swear an oath in front of Egypt’s military ruler Field Marshall Hussein Tantawi today as had been previously announced.

It is not yet clear when the ceremony will take place. The new ministers were appointed by Prime Minister Essam Sharaf in the country’s latest cabinet reshuffle over the last two days following protests and sit-ins across the country the 8 July against the way the transitional phase of the revolution is being handled.
