Possible presidential candiate and former secretary-general of the Arab League, Amr Moussa has described Mubarak's trial as a "huge event." According to Moussa, not only has the revolution brought about the fall of the former regime, it has also achieved the goal of bringing its leaders to court.

Moussa, Egypt's foreign minister from 1991-2001, stressed that it is important to ensure that the trial is fair.
