Egypt will start on Monday the “Eagle Salute 2016” joint naval exercises with the United States and the United Arab Emirates in the territorial waters of the Red Sea, Ahram Arabic website reported.

The exercises will include a number of activities such as naval scouting, creating naval formations for defence and offence, and averting attacks.

The exercise is scheduled to last for a few days.

The forces will also practice firing live ammunition onto incoming airborne attacks, as well as measuring the accuracy of the participating units in shooting targets.
