Over 200 workers at the oil and soap factory in Mansoura continue their strike for the second day running.
The employees began striking on Monday in protest against work-related issues, calling for pay rises and more benefits.
Among other demands, they also want their bonus to be doubled and medical plan improved.
The workers stress that their strike will go on until their demands are met.
Labour strikes have become increasingly common in Egypt since the beginning of the January 25 Revolution, which toppled former president Hosni Mubarak on 11 February.
