Temperatures are expected to increase on Sunday in Cairo to reach highs of 40 degrees Celsius and lows of 28 degrees, state news agency MENA reported on Saturday.
The coastal cities of Alexandria and Marsa Matrouh will see highs of 32 and 31 degrees respectively, with lows of 24 degrees for both cities.
Temperatures will be higher in Upper Egypt, with Luxor and Aswan both witnessing highs of 44 degrees and lows of 27 degrees.
The Mediterranean and Red seas will experience mild waves between one to 1.5 meters in height.
