Egypt's second field army killed three terrorists in North Sinai who were armed with weapons, ammunition and explosives, and destroyed four vehicles used by the terrorists, Egypt's army spokesperson Tamer El-Refaai said in a statement on Thursday.

The spokesman said that in a separate incident, one officer and five others were killed when an IED hit an army vehicle during a raid on a terrorist hideout.
