Egypt's defence minister leaves for Sudan for talks on military cooperation, conditions in Africa

Egypt’s Minister of Defence Mohamed Zaki left Cairo on Saturday for Sudan to hold important discussions with top officials in Sudan.

The visit aims to support aspects of cooperation and military relations between the armed forces of both countries, as well as discuss a number of issues of bilateral interest.

The talks will include conditions across the African continent in light of military cooperation between the armed forces’, especially in the fields of training and the transfer and exchange of experience in a number of fields.

The visit will also include discussions on the efforts exerted to face challenges which aim to undermine security and stability of the region in light of threats faced by both countries on an Arab and African level.
