Sudan's President Omar Al-Bashir has extended his thanks to Egypt, Ethiopia and Chad for their support for his country’s security and stability.

Speaking to crowds of supporters gathered in the Sudanese city of Nyala on Monday, Al-Bashir said that the three countries have sent high-level delegations to back Sudan amid the ongoing unrest in the country.

The Sudanese president stressed that the gathering of his supporters in Nyala, capital of South Darfur state, which he visited on Monday, conveys a message to the world that Sudan is protected by its people.

Al-Bashir insisted that the government will only change through the ballot box, affirming that Sudan will remain a united, safe, developed and advanced country despite all the problems it faces.
