Egypt's PM Madbouly hails cooperation with UAE in administrative reform and development

Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly has hailed the cooperation with the UAE in the fields of administrative reform and development, stressing that this distinguished cooperation is nothing new to Egyptian-Emirati relations, which he said are defined by love, fraternity and mutual respect.

Madbouly's comments came during a meeting held on Thursday morning with a UAE delegation comprising Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Gergawi and Minister of Happiness and Wellbeing Ohood Al Roumi and the UAE ambassador Jumaa Mubarak Al-Junaibi.

According to a statement issued by the Egyptian cabinet, the PM also said that he looks forward to further bilateral cooperation in the coming period between the two countries to include new and non-traditional fields.

During the meeting, Egyptian Planning Minister Hala El-Saeed said that cooperation with the UAE in the administrative development domain is going well, especially with regard to spreading the culture of excellence within governmental institutions through the Egypt Government Excellence Award, which is meant to encourage both individuals and institutions to be distinguished.

Al Gergawi hailed the Egyptian-UAE cooperation.

"The governmental cooperation comes to complement the outstanding cooperation in the private sector," Al Gergawi said, adding that Egypt is a preferred destination for UAE investors.

The UAE minister added that Egypt and the UAE provide through such governmental cooperation a new model of cooperation between the Arab countries.
