Pope Tawadros II, the head of the Coptic Orthodox Church, sent a cable of greetings to President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.

The pontiff wished success for the president in his efforts to build Egypt in order to fulfill the aspirations of Egyptians and secure a bright future for them.

The pope sent a similar cable of greetings to Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.
