Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli met on Wednesday with Finance Minister Mohamed Maait to discuss criteria determining citizens who are eligible to be exempted from paying subscriptions of the new health insurance system.

Maait said that his ministry will make use of databases of citizens enlisted in the Ministry of Social Solidarity's Takaful and Karama program, as well as those having ration cards when setting such criteria.

For his part, the prime minister ordered the agreed-upon criteria to be included in a draft decision which he will later issue on that score.
