Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued Saturday a presidential decree on establishing the Knowledge Hub - International University Institution of Egypt in the New Administrative Capital.

The institution will include a branch of UK-based Coventry University.

The new university is planned to help develop the higher education system and scientific research in Egypt and boost its relations with its counterparts in the UK.

The decree was published in the official gazette.
