Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will travel to Jordan on Wednesday to participate in a quadripartite meeting on Thursday on Palestine with regional and international counterparts.
According to an official statement, Egypt’s foreign ministry said the meeting between the Egyptian, Jordanian, German and French foreign ministers will see an exchange of viewpoints on the current status of the peace process in the Middle East.
It will see discussions on means of accelerating the resumption of the process and supporting reaching a comprehensive and fair political settlement in Palestine on the basis of a two-state solution.
Shoukry will also hold during his visit several bilateral meetings with his counterparts on the most salient regional issues, as well as bilateral relations between Egypt and the countries participating in the meeting.
