Protest called in front of Cairo's Sudan embassy demanding release of ِEgyptian journalist Salma El-Wardany

Demonstration at 5pm Thursday will call for the immediate release of reporter arrested in Khartoum whilst covering anti-austerity protests

Activists are calling for a protest at the Sudanese Embassy in downtown Cairo to demand the release of Egyptian journalist Salma El-Wardany who was arrested in Khartoum earlier on Thursday while covering anti-austerity protests.

The demonstration is being planned for 5pm in front of the Sudanese embassy in Cairo's Garden City.
 
El-Wardany, 25, an Ahram Online business reporter, is currently working in Khartoum for the Bloomberg news agency.

Protesing has become the new pastime in egypt. The world is getting bored of seeing unruly egyptians rioting and protesing day after day....
