Rescue forces have found seven dead so far and dozens are still missing after a ferry capsized on the shore of the Nile River near Abu-Awaly village in the Giza governorate late Thursday night.

The ferry was transporting four cars and passengers. According to Al Ahram Arabic-language website, a bus on the ferry carrying 30 passengers was having difficulties disembarking, reversed and crashed into the other cars on board.

The ferry then lost balance, flipped over and sank.
