Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi will visit Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to participate in a scheduled Islamic Summit slated for Tuesday and Wednesday in Mecca.
The event will be attended by several heads of state of Muslim nations, including Saudi Arabian monarch Abdulla Bin Abdel Aziz.
The summit will tackle major issues affecting the Muslim world, including discrimination against Muslim minorities reportedly taking place in countries such as Myanmar.
Morsi is scheduled to meet King Abdel Aziz, along with a number of other Islamic leaders, on the sidelines of the two-day summit.
