A rocket fired from the Egyptian Sinai on Wednesday landed in southern Israel without causing any injuries, an Israeli security source told AFP, speaking on condition of anonymity.

"A rocket was fired from Sinai towards Bnei Netzarim ... without causing any injuries," he said, referring to a small community close to the Egyptian border and some five kilometres (three miles) from the southern Gaza Strip.
