A section of a pedestrian bridge crossing the Cairo-Ismailia road near Souq El-Obour collapsed on Saturday killing four passengers in a microbus passing underneath.

The bridge was under construction by a civilian company contracted by the armed forces

All those injured are being treated at the military-run International Medical Centre (IMC), Ali added.
