The Egyptian presidential office announced Monday President Mohamed Morsi will submit a final draft of the proposed NGO law to the Shura Council (the upper house of Egypt’s parliament) in two days.

The draft adopted by the presidency is “substantially” different from the contentious original draft which was strongly criticised by many Egyptian NGOs, according to the presidential office.
