The National Coalition to Support Legitimacy has announced it is organising several rallies in Cairo and other governorates Sunday as part of what the Muslim Brotherhood-led coalition calls “The Departure Week.”

According to a statement issued Saturday night, the rallies Sunday will start after Al-Asr prayer, at 4pm, from mosques in Giza, Dokki and Imbaba, and Helwan and Maadi in Cairo.

It is unclear where the rallies will head.

The Islamist coalition also announced that there would be rallies from mosques in Heliopolis and in Old Cairo. Those rallies will head to Roxy Square in Heliopolis, where the coalition will hold a press conference.

The Muslim Brotherhood started rallies for“The Departure Week”Saturday in different governorates in Egypt, insisting on its rejection of what it considers a military coup.

The rallies come after clashes that erupted between Muslim Brotherhood supporters and security forces and locals in Cairo and Giza, as well several other governorates, resulting in the death of not less than 160 on Friday.
